Trim Servo

Post by LUFTY » Sat Feb 24, 2018 3:37 pm

If any P2002 owners park their aircraft outside without covers be aware that you might get water collecting in the Trim Servo casing depending on the wind direction.

We have had this happen to two separate P2002JF aircraft parked outside.

The problem is that once the water gets into the Trim Servo casing there is nowhere for it to escape so it ends up corroding the motor.

The fix is a small drain hole in the bottom of the casing to let the water run away.

Has anyone else experienced this problem ?
