Fatigue stress has determined some cracks on the rear spar of the vertical fin and consequently on the front spar. These cracks were found during a major maintenance
operation (aircraft with about 1200 hours TIS). Such problem, if not detected on time, could determine the loss of the vertical fin with consequent catastrophic loss of airplane control.
